On June 27, 2026, as part of an official visit to Taiwan, a delegation of representatives from partner universities in Vietnam participated in the Vietnamese Intellectual Community Gathering in Taiwan 2026. The event was jointly organized by VIN Taiwan, the National Innovation Center (NIC), and the INTENSE Scholarship Program.

The gathering served as an important platform connecting universities, industry partners, and the Vietnamese intellectual community studying, researching, and working in Taiwan. More than a networking event, it provided an opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives on higher education, scientific research, innovation, and international collaboration.

During the program, delegates were introduced to the development and achievements of the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan, while also learning about the vision, progress, and key initiatives of the INTENSE Scholarship Program in strengthening academic collaboration between Vietnam and Taiwan. The event also created valuable opportunities for participants to engage directly with professors, researchers, industry experts, and Vietnamese students currently studying and working in Taiwan, fostering meaningful connections and the exchange of professional experience.

Through its discussion sessions and networking activities, the program promoted academic dialogue, strengthened collaboration among higher education institutions and research organizations, and opened new opportunities for cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, innovation, and the development of high-quality human resources.

Looking ahead, the INTENSE Scholarship Program will continue to serve as a bridge connecting universities, industry partners, and the Vietnamese intellectual community in Taiwan. By expanding international partnerships and promoting academic exchange, the program aims to create more opportunities for students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals, while contributing to the sustainable development of educational and research collaboration between Vietnam and Taiwan.
