On the evening of June 29, 2026, the Opening Ceremony of the INTENSE × UEH Mandarin Class (IUEH) was successfully held via Google Meet, marking the official launch of a Mandarin language program designed for students of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).
Jointly organized by the INTENSE Program and UEH, the IUEH Mandarin Class aims to equip students with a solid foundation in Mandarin Chinese while opening doors to future opportunities for academic study, research, and career development in Taiwan.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests and representatives from government agencies, educational institutions, and partner universities in both Vietnam and Taiwan, including:

During the ceremony, representatives from the participating institutions shared the vision and objectives of the Mandarin program, introduced the long-term development of the INTENSE Program, and highlighted the academic and international career opportunities available to students through collaboration with Taiwanese universities and industry partners.
Participants were also introduced to the course structure, learning roadmap, class format, and key academic requirements, providing them with a clear understanding of the program before commencing their studies.
Following the opening ceremony, students attended their first orientation session with the course instructor, Mr. Vu Hoang Anh, M.A., where they became familiar with the curriculum, classroom guidelines, and other essential information to prepare for the semester ahead.
The INTENSE × UEH Mandarin Class (IUEH) is one of the key initiatives under the INTENSE Program to promote Mandarin language education and strengthen educational collaboration between Vietnam and Taiwan. Through this program, students are better equipped with the language skills and international competencies needed to pursue future academic, research, and career opportunities within the Taiwan – Vietnam education and talent development network.
