On the morning of March 9, 2026, the INTENSE Program Education Fair 2026 was successfully held at University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UIT). The event was jointly organized by the INTENSE Program in Taiwan and the National Innovation Center, attracting a large number of students interested in study and career opportunities in Taiwan.
In their opening remarks, representatives of the INTENSE Program, NIC, and UIT emphasized the important role of the INTENSE Scholarship Program in strengthening educational ties between Vietnam and Taiwan. The program not only contributes to the development of high-quality talent in key technology sectors, but also creates numerous opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue overseas study, internships, and employment.
Continuing the program, Dr. Võ Đức Thắng, Co-Director of the INTENSE Program in Vietnam, delivered an overview of the academic pathways, living environment in Taiwan, and career prospects after graduation. Afterwards, representatives from Taiwanese universities introduced their flagship academic programs, development orientations, and support policies for international students.
A highlight of the event was the vibrant education exhibition area, featuring participation from many partner universities, including YZU, WFU, TKU, TSU, CCU, FCU, TMU, KSU, LHU, CTBC, CYUT, NTPU, and NSYSU. Students had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives, gather information, and identify institutions that best matched their academic and career goals.
The event concluded with networking and one-on-one consultation sessions at the exhibition booths. Topics ranging from admission requirements and application procedures to academic pathways such as STEM, semiconductor technology, finance, and more were thoroughly addressed. The open and engaging environment provided students with valuable insights and the confidence to prepare for future applications to the INTENSE Program.
