On March 22, 2026, the INTENSE Program Forum 2026 was successfully held at Can Tho University, attracting a large number of students interested in study and career opportunities in Taiwan.

In their remarks at the event, Dr. Lê Văn Lâm, Vice President of Can Tho University, and Professor Lâm Vi Chí, Head of Division and Education Counselor at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized the important role of the INTENSE Scholarship Program in promoting educational cooperation. The program not only contributes to developing high-quality talent in key technology sectors, but also opens up numerous opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue overseas study, internships, and employment.

Continuing the program, representatives from Taiwanese universities participating in the project directly introduced their priority academic fields, academic strengths, and support policies for international students. Information regarding academic pathways, application procedures, and living conditions in Taiwan was presented clearly, giving students a more comprehensive understanding of the opportunities available.

A highlight of the forum was the vibrant education exhibition area, featuring booths from many universities, including Taiwan Tech (NTUST), KSU, LHU, YZU, TKU, NDHU, DYU, TMU, and TSU. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives, gather information, and identify institutions best suited to their academic and career goals.

The event concluded with direct consultation sessions for students. Topics ranging from admission requirements and application procedures to academic pathways in diverse fields such as STEM, semiconductor technology, finance, and many others were thoroughly addressed. The open exchange environment provided students with the necessary information and confidence to prepare for the upcoming INTENSE Program admissions cycle.
