On October 29, 2025, the INTENSE Program in Taiwan (INTACT), in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC), hosted a networking session aimed at fostering exchange and expanding cooperation between universities in Vietnam and Taiwan.
The program opened with remarks by the Director of NIC and the Director of INTACT, underscoring the critical role of education and training partnerships in developing a high-quality workforce. Representatives from participating universities then delivered institutional overviews, shared strategic directions, and proposed opportunities for bilateral collaboration.
Participating institutions included: VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET); VNU University of Science (VNU-HUS); Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST); Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT); Electric Power University (EPU); National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech); Ming Chi University of Technology; LungHwa University of Science and Technology; Kun Shan University, along with representatives from several enterprises and other universities.
Following the presentations, delegates joined a Networking Lunch, providing a more in-depth forum to exchange views on cooperation models in education, research, and student mobility. The networking session is expected to generate concrete collaboration opportunities in the near future.
The event concluded with representatives attending the Launch Ceremony of the INTENSE Program Office in Hanoi, marking a significant milestone in strengthening educational connectivity between Vietnam and Taiwan.
