📍 On the afternoon of December 19, 2025, the INTENSE Program in Taiwan, in collaboration with the University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT), organized a networking and information session to introduce the INTENSE Scholarship Program to students.
🌍 The event opened with welcoming remarks from a representative of DUT, who emphasized the importance of international cooperation in cultivating high-quality human resources. The remarks highlighted how such collaboration enhances students’ professional competencies, integration skills, and global mindset in multicultural working environments.
🎓 The program continued with a presentation by Dr. Vo Duc Thang, Co-PI of the INTENSE Program in Vietnam, who provided an overview of studying in Taiwan and the INTENSE Scholarship Program. His presentation helped students better understand the program’s objectives, the integrated study–internship–employment training model, and the strengths of Taiwan’s education and research environment—particularly in STEM, Semiconductor Technology, and Finance. These insights laid an important foundation for students to clearly envision their academic pathways and international career development through the INTENSE Program. ✨
🎓 This was followed by an in-depth sharing session by Dr. Mai Thi Thanh Tuyen, Representative of the INTACT Office in Vietnam (Hanoi Office), focusing on two key topics of strong interest to students:
- Application procedures and eligibility requirements for the INTENSE Scholarship Program, providing clear guidance on timelines, admission criteria, and effective application preparation.
- Language and cultural differences between Vietnam and Taiwan, along with practical strategies for learning Mandarin effectively to help students quickly adapt to academic and daily life in an international environment.
The practical information and firsthand experience shared during the session enabled students to gain a clearer understanding of the study-abroad journey in Taiwan, from initial preparation to long-term academic and career development. 📘
💬 The event concluded with a direct consultation and Q&A session, fostering open dialogue between students and program representatives and opening up promising study-abroad opportunities in Taiwan for Vietnamese students in the near future. 🚀
