📍 On the afternoon of November 17, 2025, continuing a series of exchange, networking, and collaboration initiatives between Vietnamese and Taiwanese universities in the fields of STEM, Semiconductor Technology, and Finance, the INTENSE Program in Taiwan, in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC), organized an Education Forum introducing the INTENSE Scholarship for students in southern Vietnam at the University of Science – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUS).
🌏 The forum opened with remarks from the Co-PI of the INTENSE Program in Taiwan and the Head of the Investment Promotion & Strategic Technology Division of NIC, highlighting the role of the INTENSE Scholarship in strengthening educational linkages, advancing high-tech workforce development, and expanding opportunities for study, internships, and employment in Taiwan for Vietnamese students.
📘💼 This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Vo Duc Thang, Co-PI of the INTENSE Program in Vietnam, who provided an overview of studying in Taiwan and the INTENSE Scholarship Program. His presentation helped students better understand academic pathways, living environments, training models, and post-graduation career opportunities.
🏫 The program continued with introductions from eight Taiwanese universities—Taiwan Tech, MUST, KSU, LHU, TSUST, YZU, WFU, and TKU—which presented their academic programs, institutional strengths, and support policies for international students. These presentations offered participants clearer insights to make informed choices for their future study journeys in Taiwan.
💬🚀 The forum concluded with an in-depth Q&A and discussion session, where students directly raised questions regarding academic programs, scholarships, admission requirements, and career orientations in STEM, Semiconductor Technology, and Finance. Many specialized inquiries were addressed, paving the way for expanded study-abroad and career development opportunities through the INTENSE Scholarship Program for Vietnamese students.
