📅 On the morning of December 9, 2025, the INTENSE Program in Taiwan, in collaboration with the School of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering, Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), organized a networking and information session in Hanoi to introduce the INTENSE Scholarship Program to students. The event aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of study, internship, and employment opportunities in Taiwan in the fields of STEM, Semiconductor Technology, and Finance.
🎤🌐 The event opened with remarks by Dr. Hoang Tien Dung, Associate Professor and President of the School of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering, who emphasized the importance of international collaboration in enhancing education and research, cultivating engineers with strong technical expertise and a global mindset, and expanding opportunities for students to study in international environments.
✨ This was followed by a presentation from Dr. Mai Thi Thanh Tuyen, Representative of the INTACT Office in Hanoi, who shared insights into studying in Taiwan, introduced the INTENSE Scholarship Program, and presented LungHwa University of Science and Technology (LHU). Her talk offered students an overview of the scholarship, the academic environment, and student life in Taiwan.
📚 The program continued with a presentation by Dr. Truong Van Nam, Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages at the University of Finance and Banking (FBU), who discussed effective strategies for learning Chinese for beginners. He highlighted the importance of communicative practice and continuous language training as essential tools for overcoming language and cultural barriers, thereby broadening academic and career opportunities.
💬 The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, creating an open forum for discussion and highlighting promising study-abroad opportunities in Taiwan for Vietnamese students immediately after graduation. 🚀
