📅 On December 11, 2025, the INTENSE Program in Taiwan, in collaboration with the Can Tho University (CTU), organized the INTENSE Program Forum to share insights into the semiconductor industry and scholarship opportunities for Vietnamese students in the fields of Semiconductors, STEM, and Finance.
🎤 The forum opened with a keynote presentation by Prof. Chang Shang-Chou, Professor at Kun Shan University, titled “The Development of Semiconductor Technology in Taiwan.” The presentation provided an overview of Taiwan’s semiconductor ecosystem, emerging technology trends, workforce demand, and training models. Professor Chang also shared his experience in education, research, and industry engagement, highlighting promising prospects for deeper collaboration between Taiwanese universities and Can Tho University in semiconductor engineering education and applied research.
📚 In the afternoon session, Dr. Vo Duc Thang, Co-PI of the INTENSE Program in Vietnam, delivered an overview of studying in Taiwan, the INTENSE Scholarship Program, and career development pathways in high-tech sectors for Vietnamese students. Students also had opportunities to meet and engage directly with representatives from the INTENSE Program and participating universities.
✨ The forum was held with the expectation of opening up expanded opportunities for collaboration, training, and high-quality talent development, thereby contributing to the continued strengthening of Vietnam–Taiwan educational cooperation in the years ahead.
